'Twas the Night Before Christmas

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring……. except for this mouse.

Unbeknownst to Carrie and Basil, I’ve decided to make our Christmas pudding this year. You know, one of those giant brown cakes that you set on fire. I’m very good at setting things on fire, albeit accidentally.

The recipe calls for many ingredients, some of which I couldn’t find. Therefore I’ve had to substitute a couple of items, namely: garlic in place of ginger, no one will notice as they both start with ‘G’; and prunes instead of dates, once again, no one will notice as they both look the same. The recipe also asks for brown sugar but as we don’t have any of this I’ve chosen to use white sugar and brown paint….
